Chad FreemanChad Freeman & Redline
"Cowboy Heart"
Independent Release

By Sally A. Schwartz

The first time I heard Chad Freeman  Redline play, I was standing next to a stagecoach at the opposite end of the Rawhide Western Themed Park in Phoenix, Arizona. Within a few minutes, I was hoofing it over to the music stage to have a listen. I was impressed, so I left my business card and now I'm excited to have received their debut album, "Cowboy Heart," to review.

Freemanís voice is solidified in true country with a quality akin to that of Kenny Chesney. I kept replaying the first track, "Liviní Country," as well as the cuts, "Blame it on the Whiskey," "It Wasnít Me," "Love On Me" and, the one that spoke the loudest to my heart, "Six Foot Soldier." After many listens to Chad Freeman & Redlineís effort, "Cowboy Heart," I think that this band is destined for great things and wish them all the best.
