Yes, you had to be a true Joan Jett fan to really show up on a hot Wednesday night in August in Las Vegas. The poolside was filled with fans all around its edges, covering every area of patio all the way to the front of the stage.

With the night’s event getting ready to start, the Blackheart intro music played as they took to the stage with Joan following suit. Wearing a black bikini top and her famous black leather pants, she was showing off her wonderful physique. If I was in as great of shape as Jett, I would probably be showing more skin too. Giving the lead with a head nod to the other members, they began to push forward starting off with their classic, “Bad Reputation.”

This evening's set list wasn’t any different from past shows, fine tuning the songs that fans came to love and enjoy-- only the hits that are known, if you have been to any of the bands show's, were on the list. Even the well-known “Cherry Bomb” from her days with the Runaways is still a crowd favorite and high on the list to be played.

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts seem to be on their game and giving their best. Joan seemed to have a hand cramp halfway through the show, but being the strong person she is, she continued to play. With a slight look of pain, she pulled through without the fans noticing any problems in her performance. Once again she was a pleasure to see and the performance was as great as always.
