Fit For An Autopsy - The Great Collapse
Fit For An Autopsy - The Great Collapse

By Dave Schwartz

Fit For An Autopsy has a new record out - "The Great Collapse."  So here's the deal, with each new album, FFAA is bumping the limits and expanding their presence in the deathcore community.  Their sound is consistently evolving, growing and impressing.  So it's an easy prediction to say that they're certain to not make the same record twice.

"The Great Collapse" certainly has a political voice.  I don't think this is much of a surprise given the current state of our nation.  This voice has been carried into and expressed through their video's.  FFAA first video from this record, "Heads Will Hang," investigates the plight of a displaced family.  Their second video, “Black Mammoth,” which takes inspiration from the Dakota Access Pipeline protests

At this point I find myself repeating the same comment I made about FFAA's last record, "Absolute Hope Absolute Hell."  To date "The Great Collapse" could be their best album.  I sat down with Pat Sheridan to find out more about "The Great Collapse."   Watch…
