ARSIS - Talking About "Visitant"
By Dave Schwartz

Arsis is an American extreme metal band from Virginia Beach, Virginia, formed in 2000.  They are about to release their 6th studio record - "Visitant" whis is a concept album built around the horror film genre.  While the album features songs that celebrate many classic horror icons, the songs are not unified to tell a singular story.  Unique in approach, vocallist James Malone shared that the idea of the record originated from his childhood where he fixated on every old horror movie that he could find.

"Visitant" has given birth to a pair of videos so far - "Tricking the Gods" and "Hell Sworn."  Arsis is currently on the Bloodletting North America XII tour where I sat down with James Malone and Noah Martin to talk about being back out on tour and the new record, "Visitant."  Check out the video!
