The
L.A. Maybe - Sweat Soaked Blue Jeans Rock n’ Roll
|By Dave Schwartz
The ebb and flow of musical fashion and
trends drift with a predictable mystery across the entertainment
industry. The one known is that what’s popular today,
won’t be tomorrow. That being said, seat-of-the-pants,
sweat soaked blue jeans rock n’ roll has never fallen too far
from the top.
The L.A. Maybe is a six-piece rock n'
roll band hailing from the southern heat of the Carolinas. If
you’re a fan of Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, or Van Halen…you will feel
right at home with LAM. Do they have the chops to be
mentioned with such heavyweight names? Vocalist Alvi
Robinson was one of only four singers invited to audition to
replace Brian Johnson in AC/DC in 2016.
With the singles “Mr. Danger” and
“Sucker Punch” already released, guitarist Dallas Dwight and The
L.A. Maybe are planting their feet at the very forefront of the
latest wave of classic rock movement. Their new record,
"Dirty Damn Tricks" drops March 26th 2021.
Dallas Dwight recently called into
DaBelly to talk about "Dirty Damn Tricks." Check out the
interview!
