Paul Gilbert - Werewolves of Portland
|By Dave Schwartz

It stands to reason that after 16 studio albums, guitarist Paul Gilbert has fun making music.  When I asked if the recording of his latest album, "Werewolves of Portland", went as planned, Gilbert responded - "Not exactly!"  It's easy to acknowledge that this pandemic has sidetracked the best made plans of many.  In Gilberts case, he found himself playing all of the instruments.  The results are classic Paul Gilbert!  I sat down with Paul Gilbert via ZOOM and learnt all about the new record and his philosophy toward music and performance.  Check out the interview!
